Weekend-Starter League
The Weekend-Starter League will meet every Thursday at Huntington Pier. Our League will feature doubles play in a king-of-he-court ladder format which will accommodate for absences, substitutions, and tardiness. At the end of each round, top point earners will move up a court, bottom earners will move down a court, and middle teams will stay. Progress and results will be tracked on VolleyballLife. Our format will create lots of opportunities to play against new teams that are close to your level, no matter how high or how low that level is. We understand that blowouts are a waste of everyone’s time so our format eliminates most of those while smoothing over issues related to doubles play in leagues..
Social Hour
Each week we’ll work with bars and restaurants in the area to provide specials for our group as we unwind and relax into the weekend with new friends. Of course this part of the experience isn’t mandatory but we anticipate most of our group attending and having a good time. Building a fun, loving, and accepting community is important to us. Players are encouraged to play two leagues – both coed and same gender.
Top finishers will be given prizes from Pit Viper, Slunks, Wilson and Luna Grill.
